It is but normal to be confused and to worry, this is your opportunity to create something of your own, build your career in a new country.  This is a known experience for an Expat spouse, you are not the only one rowing the boat of  caution and confusion. This is not a bad at all, people with multiple passions better-known as multipotentialites often gets confused to which path to take - and sometimes you don't really need to choose, you just have to combine your interests, skills, creative talents and expertise to start something of your own.  Emilie Wapnick shared about multipotentialite  in her TEDxBend Talk cited Why is it quite normal being a person with a lot of interests and creative pursuits.
